Another Easter Egg[]

I can't remember exactly where, but somewhere there are two garden gnomes that are holding small versions of the signs found outside Vault 101. I believe they are also right outside of a bathroom stall (apparently trying to get in...don't want to know why they're dying from not getting in). Ganon12788 07:52, November 19, 2009 (UTC)

THEY'RE ALIVE![]

Why do the Gnomes seem to have changed position everytime I enter the Tenpenny Suite? Fat Man Spoon

probably some kind of homeage to Goosebumps, or the fact that garden gnomes are just plain creepy

That might also explain why my alcohol keeps going missing! Fat Man Spoon 15:12, 20 May 2009 (UTC)

No, that's cause your a drunk. --DragonJTSLeave me a message 15:14, 20 May 2009 (UTC)

...What?[]

Removed:

  • The garden gnomes look closely similar to the travelosity "Roaming Gnome" except for the missing moustache and has a staff for hiking. Even the red hat is the same with the same shirt, belt, shoes, and skin.
  • An Intact Garden Gnome can also be found inside Vault 101 (a bug). When you rescue Ellen DeLoria, if you flick the outside switch to her quarters many times, an Intact Garden Gnome will appear on the bottom.

because one is inane and the other is useless information. On second thought, they're both inane and useless. P.S. Damned-near all garden gnomes look like this! Bethesda isn't somehow endorsing Travelocity with these...--Baalzak 05:29, 5 August 2009 (UTC)

Hehe... Gnomes :)[]

I think Gnomes are awesome and so should you! CheezeWEEPツ 21:36, January 27, 2010 (UTC)

Incorrect easter egg[]

"In a stall in the lower Launch Platform Base, a bloody Garden Gnome with glowing eyes was apparently cutting up meat with a [[Deathclaw Hand|Deathclaw Hand]]."

This is wrong, the gnome, on PS3 atleast, does NOT have glowing red eyes. I know this because i found this gnome this morning and studied it. It was the same as any damaged garden gnome. JASPER42 20:03, June 27, 2010 (UTC)JASPER42

Physics/collision glitch[]

Garden gnomes that are not the standard size do not behave properly in terms of the physics and collision engine because they still have the same collision and physics properties as the regular size ones. For example, the tiny gnomes bounce around and float in the air when you bump into them or place them on a surface.

Garden Gnome found in a weird spot in Fallout: New Vegas[]

I found a Garden Gnome inside the campfire that the girl takes you to, to teach you how to activate the campfire and use it. I saw what looked like a face, so I gave it a closer inspection.. There is indeed a damaged garden gnome inside that campfire. Don't know if anyone else has noticed this one yet..?

Thank you for locations! :)[]

Gonna go get all me gnomes in New Vegas ^_^ Gheart 19:24, November 5, 2010 (UTC)

Please confirm the New Vegas locations or delete them[]

I am garden gnome hunting and saw the list of locations for New Vegas. The one that tells you to go to the checkpoint on the road to REPCONN Test Site is more than likely a gag someone is pulling. I visited the checkpoint and checked it thoroughly and never found it. Also it mentions the gnome has a cigarette in his mouth. That would be impossible given the physics of this game unless the cigarette is a permanent part of the gnome, in which case it would make it unique and more deserving of a mention than what's here.--65.27.167.139 05:46, November 10, 2010 (UTC)

Nope, it’s there, I’ve found it in every game I played. As you walk from Novac to repconn its on the bridge you pass under. The cig in its mouth is a normal cig from the game and falls out when you pick it up, I was merely stuck there by the developers. If you played Fallout 3 you would have seen some with cigs in that game as well. ReapTheChaos 03:09, June 22, 2012 (UTC)

^^I agree, I just went on a goose chase looking for the garden gnome supposedly found in Sarah's locker in Vault 21. I couldn't find any gnomes in that entire room. It's possible I took it already, but I doubt it. And even in that case, there's no way it's an intact gnome, because I don't have any of those yet in New Vegas.

Anybody reading this: if you have gotten skunked on a tip here and you're sure it's not a mistake on your part, just delete the damn thing.

Odd...[]

For some odd reason I *had* an obsession with putting the intact garden gnomes in my house (near the bed upstairs in the Megaton house) in Fallout 3. Well, one day I was feeling really really lazy, and just dropped Metal Armor downstairs, and after a while of playing I went back to the house, and the Metal Armor was sitting on the desk (Pre-War Theme) fully repaired. I dropped it next to the fridge. Nd I have no idea how or what happened. But this isn't the first time I've heard of something like this. I looked it up online and from what I can remember, someone else has also had this happened... Maybe it was a glitch, maybe not. But I think my gnomes love me :P 66.165.20.177 12:51, June 30, 2011 (UTC)Stoner66.165.20.177 12:51, June 30, 2011 (UTC)

P.S. It wasn't just cause I was high, I remember better when I'm stoned, than when I'm sober :P (I'm perma-fried now though)

OWB location.[]

Does anyone know where the picture on the page of the 6 intact gnomes in OWB was taken? I just spent the better part of 5 hours searching high and low and cant find it. If this was staged or part of some mod then it needs to be removed but if its there then someone needs to add its location. ReapTheChaos 16:31, June 25, 2012 (UTC)

Ok, come to find out, they only show up with wild wasteland. ReapTheChaos (talk) 05:04, December 31, 2012 (UTC)

Gnomes and Teddy bears[]

The pairs of Gnomes and Teddies in the game are so delightful that I went and bought a traveler gnome to sit beside my screen. Now I am thinking of buying a china lavatory, a chess board and bear and setting up the scene in Old Olney Power room. The Gnome is smoking and purple smoke curls up off his cig while the bear has the whiskey. The bear uses beer bottles and the Ghome milk bottles for playing pieces. All in a quiet side room. Brilliantly thought out.--1000HrsFallout3 (talk) 15:53, July 27, 2012 (UTC)
