Completing the Quest?[]
Does this quest end after you discover every single location?(Including vault 87, which is kinda difficult to get to because of the 2000+ radiation). Does it ever end ? Domn-117 19:06, 8 March 2009 (UTC)Domn-117
I might test that out actualy.. i've managed to get to that door and back before, you just need like 1000 rad aways lol. Either that or someone with the PC version could just do it with the console, which would be far easier.--Greig91 18:29, 28 April 2009 (UTC)

DLC Mapping?[]
Do the locations added via DLC count towards caps? Do the simulated locations in Operation Anchorage count?
I can confirm that Point Lookout locations (and Broken Steel locations in the Capital Wasteland) count toward the quest. I can't speak for the other DLCs, but I would assume that they also count. Epochalyptik 15:31, July 27, 2010 (UTC)
Issue with getting paid for past locations discovered[]
Having difficulty repeating this incident. After saving Reilly's rangers and getting the module, there was a case where after talking to her about locations, I did not get paid for the places I found before the quest. Then after a few places discovered, I got paid well over 3500 caps. Is this right? I already had over 100 locations found (and recieved trophy too), but when first brought up, I never got paid. Has anyone else encountered this?
I actually thought until today that I wasn't supposed to be paid for locations I found before talking to her, because on my first 3 full play-throughs she never paid me for them. I had assumed all this time that since you didn't have the module with you, you had no way of telling her where those places were. - It's a minor bug. Wait a moment after getting the Geomapper, save, then talk to her. If she doesn't pay up, reload the save, and wait a little longer. I've never had to wait very long. Kris (talk) 19:21, July 27, 2010 (UTC)
Explorer perk?[]
When you take the Explorer perk at level 20, does she pay you for all the locations on the map, but as-yet unfound, or does she pay you for just the ones you have visited? I suspect that the latter is true, though the former makes more sense from a game mechanics perspective; I've discovered several location after getting paid for some (or all), after getting the Explorer perk, and even though I found more locations she didn't give me any more caps, saying they already had all those locations. Just got paid 1440 caps after getting explorer, so the former is actually true nherdboi

How much?[]
On this page it says you get 30 caps per location, but on Geomapper module it says you get 20 caps?--96.26.129.246 01:41, October 6, 2011 (UTC)
It does give you 30 per location. I just got 4380 caps and I have 146 locations discovered.--64.136.205.11 11:45, July 1, 2013 (UTC)
