Inspiration[]

Clearly this is indeed a Titan II. I don't know why someone added a Minuteman as a reference being that this missile itself is based on an ICBM from the 50's. Someone claimed it lacked a source, but that does not excuse the reason being that this is not a Minuteman. Otherwise, here's my obvious source

Actually according to in game evidence they are Minuteman 11s or Minuteman XIs as seen here. While there is no real world equivalent of the Minuteman XI, a link to the Minuteman wikipedia page is appropriate, as is a link to wikipedia's page for ICBMs because we know that it is an ICBM. On the other hand, the Titan II is speculation as we do not know if that was what the developers based the ICBM on. If you were to get JE Sawyer's confirmation that the ICBM was based on the Titan II that would change things and it would be added in the behind the scenes section as the source material. You can find his Formspring account here and there you can ask him about the inspiration for the design of the ICBM. While for other matters, one could argue for there being a direct visual or textual correlation, as this is a weapon of sorts, it requires developer confirmation. I think the point is that the LGM-30 is a solid fuelled rocket, while the in-game "Minuteman XI" is clearly liquid-fuelled (despite its strong resemblance, speculation about whether it is or isn't based on Titan II is unnecessary for that), so it's not based on the LGM-30 and the Wikipedia link is thus misleading. 203.129.52.43 04:33, August 30, 2015 (UTC)
I agree the minuteman name doesn't belong on the missile, as it's a direct carbon copy of the Titan II ICBMNick3258 (talk) 13:49, December 1, 2015 (UTC)
