Nellis Air Force Base Posters

Is it the same aircraft as the ones flying over a family on the Nellis AFB posters?

Also, I remember either seeing or reading somewhere about a real world aircraft prototype with a similar distinctive wing design and engine placement but I can't for the life of me remember the name or model of the prototype, the company that built it or even what the term(s) used for the wing design was. Does anyone know anything about it? And if relevant, could it be added to the article?(mostly the info about the wing design) Dr. Lobotomy 18:06, July 11, 2011 (UTC)

Yes! It appears to be based upon the Custer CCW-5. The design's called a Channel wing. IsaacKronenFaust 00:22, December 19, 2011 (UTC)
