Eyepatch

I've also seen Megaton refugees wearing one; not sure what the big deal is. 124.169.108.38 07:38, 13 January 2009 (UTC)

also, some wasteland hunters or the cannibal people.

The thing is that the eye patch is just something cool and doesnt drop like other items --63.138.247.2 23:25, 17 February 2009 (UTC)

The eyepatch is part of the model, rather than equipment. Many other characters do, like Billy Creel. 68.60.229.1 09:54, 15 August 2009 (UTC)

If you have Broken Steel installed, it's possible Junders or the Dead Regulator may not spawn at all. This is due to an attempted "improvement" by Bethesda.

What "improvement"? Nitpicker of the Wastes 02:03, 8 June 2009 (UTC)

Plunkett?

Possible reference to Plunkett and Macleane? After all, the Plunkett in question -is- a wanted Raider and the historical Plunkett was a notorious highwayman....

C'mon, practically every last name in existence has a criminal associated with it. 70.24.1.251 10:33, April 20, 2010 (UTC)Blib

Need some confirmation on this one

The following removed from article until verified:

Junders Plunkett was an early 18th Century Dutch pirate who was known as the Valid Point. Hence the eye-patch and the name of his unique knuckle-dusters.

Google searching yields a mention only on a list page on Wikipedia. No article of his own. No mention outside of that one list of names page. Junders Plunkett was added to that page in May 2009 by an editor with only a half dozen edits. The only other Google results I got appeared to be that same "information" cut-and-pasted from the Wikipedia page. So, anyone in the know please step forward with some real info. In the meantime, this stays off the article page. Thanks you.--Gothemasticator 06:48, February 5, 2010 (UTC)

Why do you need confirmation? Did you read the thing. It's obviously fanboy fiction. For one thing the entry lists sources, that when checked have no background on this fictional character.

Junders Plunkett is most likely just an anagram for. Plunders Junk. IE. Steals Junk.

dutch pirate

I found this should we add it back? http://wikibin.org/articles/junders-plunkett.html —Preceding unsigned comment added by 99.6.209.86 (talkcontribs). Please sign your posts with ~~~~!

You found an obviously fake page on some half-baked no-name wiki? So? And what do you want to add back? A reference to a real-life Junders Plunkett that didn't really exist? No, I don't think so. Kris (talk) 04:42, July 16, 2010 (UTC)
Also note that it's contradicted by Wikipedia: Junders Plunkett on Wikipedia - referred to as a blatant hoax. Kris (talk) 05:21, July 16, 2010 (UTC)
I originally deleted the reference after discovering that every internet search result for "Junders Plunkett" returned either our page or text copied directly from the wikipedia page. The wikipedia entry was added by one editor, who had fewer than six other edits, with no references cited. That's what I call a dead-end trail.--Gothemasticator 05:47, July 16, 2010 (UTC)
Just for kicks, I went ahead and checked out all five references given for the wikibin article cited above. Guess what? Not a single one even mentions Junders Plunkett.--Gothemasticator 06:01, July 16, 2010 (UTC)

Two Fingers bug!??

So, having two fingers is somehow a bug? Even if you're supposed to cut off a specific finger, you have two hands. TheToast7 05:56, September 6, 2010 (UTC)

I don't even know where to begin pointing out what's wrong with your comment. Blutteufel 05:47, September 28, 2010 (UTC)

Name

Just thought it might be interesting to share that a man named Roy Plunkett invented Teflon. I don't suppose it has any significance; I just thought it was fun. Kastera 23:35, February 23, 2011 (UTC)
