To a lesser extent

What "lesser extent"? The damage bonus should apply equally to this weapon as to any other valid weapon. If this is not the case could you explain the difference in bonus? --Trithemius 05:52, 23 November 2008 (UTC)

Possible meaning?

Could the name be a reference to Kotaku editor Luke Plunkett? As in, he makes valid points in his news blog posts or whatever. I dunno. 123.243.166.131 04:02, 24 December 2008 (UTC)

I instantly thought of "Lord Plunkett", although I do not know why and I do not know who it is. --83.60.26.104 03:43, 10 January 2009 (UTC)

It's quite possible that the name isn't a reference to anyone specific and that the double meaning in "valid points" is the only joke. Either way, I like the name.--Mehbah 23:52, 26 February 2009 (UTC)

Removed "Uses" section from main page

I removed a section from the main page called "Uses" which contained one person's view on the usefulness/uselessness of the weapon.. Opinions like that belong on the discussion page.. Personally, I think its low AP cost can make it one of the most deadly weapons in the game if you have the Paralyzing Palm perk..

Here is the text I removed: "Even for a character potent in unarmed attacks, its usefulness is questionable. It is undoubtedly more powerful than the Spiked knuckles, with a higher base damage, higher critical rate, and lower AP cost. However to obtain it the player must obtain the Lawbringer perk (a useless perk for evil characters). They also cannot be repaired by the player, only merchants can repair them. If the player has The Pitt (add-on) (and access to the Steel knuckles), Plunkett's Valid Points are not much of an acquisition. It is a great weapon, but the cost to obtain and maintain it may be too high for it to be useful."

The text is subjective, but the truth is these are much more potent than the steel knuckles. 1 AP more, but for another 1/3rd as much damage per hit. Even with the default AP and 1 AG, it's only 4 blows and the damage is more than made up for for the cost of that 1 AP. Triaxx2 13:17, April 1, 2010 (UTC)
