Could somebody transcribe what the message reads?

I also somehow get the Ranger Emergency Frequency when just outside the National Archives. Must be a glitch. ForkyD 11:24, 16 November 2008 (UTC)

I picked up the signal as I was about to enter the Museum of History for the first time... If I'm not mistaken (I only did the quest once, on my 1st playthrough) that's pretty far away. --Penumbra 07:18, 14 December 2008 (UTC)

Picked it up in Pennsylvania Ave., but standing at a very specific spot. Moved away and the signal was lost, couldn't pick it up again afterwards. --Penumbra 15:25, 26 May 2009 (UTC)

Someone REALLY needs to transcribe what is said. All I heard was two letters of a sentence then it stopped and said I got the quest, I must have move out of range. I really would like to RP a bit, but stuff like that ruins it :(.

Transcript

Since it's been requested and I needed the info for some fiction I was writing anyway... I couldn't find the file in the assets or the reference to it in any editor that listed what the sound file is. Transcript is as follows:

"...Repeating message. This is Butcher of Reilly's Rangers sending out an S.O.S. on all known friendly frequencies. We're trapped on the roof of the Statesman Hotel by a large contingent of supermutants. We are low on ammo and running out of time! If assistance is not possible, please attempt to contact Reilly who's made for Underworld inside the Museum of History. Oh Shit! Here they come again!

To anyone receiving this message, this is Butcher of the merc company Reilly's Rangers. We're in danger and need help. Ammunition supply is running out and we've lost a man. We're pinned on the roof of the Statesman Hotel by supermutants. If assistance is not possible, please attempt to contact Reilly who's made for Underworld inside the Museum of History. Oh Shit! Here they come again!"

The second part repeats as long as the signal is in range.
