Unique?

I have found a legendary variant of the shishkebab. Should we consider removing it from the unique weapons list?

Not Unique?

There is a blurred line between unique and common weapon on this one. However, according to the survival guide published by bethesda, it is consider as an unique weapon (Ref: Vault Dweller's Survival Guide pg.69)

Similar to Kremvh Tooth and Automatic Laser Musket, this is semi unique. Which means it is possible to get from Legendary enemies. However, since it is quest related, I think it will still spawn on Slag on that quest, even if you already have one.

Side note, Slag may spawn with the Searing mod already installed, so you may want to wait until higher level if you don't wish to invest points in Blacksmith
