Incorrectly named page

Could an admin please move this page to "Wild Card: Finishing Touches" as that is the real name of the quest in game? PIMPinator 16:15, October 31, 2010 (UTC)

Boone

Judging from my own experience, the note about Boone leaving your party after the El Dorado substation appears to be inaccurate. I had him with me at the dam, where I was in disguise as NCR. I took off the disguise, then went to the substation. I went inside with Boone and immediately installed the chip, but while I was doing so, Boone killed several NCR soldiers (I'm still idolized by the NCR even after he did so). Then I left, reported to Yes Man, and talked to the Followers. Boone is still in my party.71.63.129.124 00:43, December 4, 2010 (UTC)

update- Yeah, he never left my party at all. The note about Boone is definitely off-base in some respect.71.63.129.124 22:09, December 4, 2010 (UTC)

- It might be related to your reputation with the NCR. I didn't have much infamy with NCR when going to the El Dorado Substation, so when I installed the chip, the NCR soldiers didn't get hostile. They were telling me to leave the station, so I did that soon after I installed the chip. I still got infamy with the NCR for installing the chip, but it wasn't enough to get me below Idolized. 187.37.59.194 15:06, February 6, 2011 (UTC)

Followers?

I didn't get any dialogue about the Followers until after I completed the quest. Now, Yes Man asks me to enlist their aid, but it doesn't add a new quest and "finishing touches" is still marked complete. Farkas doesn't have any new dialogue about helping me either. Fiddled around with resetting the quest in the console but didn't get anywhere. Btw, I didn't notice this until I patched up to 1.02. --71.111.57.228 09:31, December 16, 2010 (UTC) User.

How does this quest start?

I finished the side bets & reported to Yes Man, but he never says anything about going to El Dorado (PC, level 29). Is there some console command to reset this quest? GullyF 22:06, January 26, 2011 (UTC)GullyF

Nevermind. It doesn't happen until after Yes Man gets installed on the Lucky 38 mainframe. GullyF 22:19, January 26, 2011 (UTC)

NCR Reputation Drop

When I completed this quest on the 360 after You'll Know It When It Happens using a Stealth Boy, I received NCR infamy but my reputation remained at 'Idolized.' I updated the article appropriately. Rolo Hooligan 15:00, March 4, 2011 (UTC)

-In addition: On the 360 and remaining idolized, I received no infamy. Before the mission, I left my followers at home. Before entering the substation while hidden, I put on NCR faction gear and a stealth boy. Continuing while hidden and crouched, I entered the substation, accessed the terminal, uploaded the override chip and left. It was very important to remain hidden after I installed the chip because on previous attempts, 3+ NCR troopers walk over to the terminal and block the way. If I became detected, I gained infamy. I got around these troopers and outside the substation (all while hidden) and fast-traveled asap. Paulyb01 16:06, July 31, 2014 (UTC)

Quest doesn't start

I finished wild card: side bets and wild card: change in management. Also i finished the you'll know when it happens quest for the NCR. It seems like its impossible to start this quest now. I even tried with the StartQuest command. YesMan doesn't give me any dialogue options for starting this quest.
