Theodore was serving in the New California Republic Army during the First Battle of Hoover Dam and was present in Boulder City when explosives placed there to wipe out the forces of Caesar's Legion detonated, killing him among the 107 service members whose names are now displayed on the Boulder City Memorial.

Though Lieutenant Gorobets, the leader of First Recon's Alpha Team can be met while stationed at Camp McCarran, any familial relation between him and Theodore is unknown.
