The Head Scribe's keycard can be acquired by pickpocketing it from Head Scribe Taggart in the Brotherhood of Steel bunker in Hidden Valley.

- You can simply kill Head Scribe Taggart to obtain the keycard, however, this will turn the people in the bunker hostile towards you, unless done while hidden.
- Use of the keycard, along with the other two, will provoke Veronica Santangelo to leave as your companion.
