Shout out to Gamebanshee who noticed a few familiar names in the latest ESRB rankings… Fallout 1 2 and Tactics. As you may remember, Interplay lost the rights to sell those games on December 31 2013, and since have been absent from the Steam and GOG store… This could be a sign of their immeient return, as foretold in The Elder Scrolls by Pete Hines, VP of Marketing at Bethesda some time ago.

Floppy Jaloppy

Many of you have probably never seen a floppy disc, and if you have it was probably a 3.5 inch, or maybe for the slightly older of you, like me, you might remember the 5.25 inches... If you saw CBS's 60 minutes this week, you might have been shocked to see some 8 inch floppy disks, and even more shocked to see that they're still used in the US military's Miniuteman nuclear systems. I suppose using antique hardware is one way to make sure you don't get hacked... You might remember the Iranian nuclear project was stymied by a virus uploaded to centrifugal control systems via USB sticks... Cant exactly do that on these machines. Even if you can find an 8 inch disk to put your virus on, they only hold 1 megabyte each.
