The unfinished mansion is a location in the Ash Heap region of Appalachia.

Background

Located in Bramwell, on the southern edge of Appalachia, this Mega Mansion was under construction. It was the third of its kind after the Garrahan Estate and the Hornwright Estate, created by the Garrahan Mining Company.[Non-game 1] It was never finished due to the automation riots in October 2077, when ex-miners used stolen mining explosives to damage the structure in a sign of defiance against the economic disparity of the region,[1] eventually bringing down the upper part of the superstructure[2] and causing at least two casualties and several people wounded.[1]

Layout

The area is bare, with only three off-road vehicles found around the building. Skeletons can also be found buried underneath a window piece which fell off from the unfinished mansion.

Appearances

The unfinished mansion appears in Fallout 76.

One of a trio of monolithic housing structures created by the Garrahan Mining company. However, this one wasn’t completed, and the structure is little more than a giant (and inaccessible) shell. The views of Mount Blair to the northwest are impressive, but the Dumpster-diving potential is not."
