Inventory standardization project[]

Fallout 1 and Fallout 2
User:Ghouly89/sandbox1
A dash "-" must be placed within a particular parameter IF is empty. Unless the parameter is "ondeath" which must have "empty".

;Apparel
The armor and clothing of a non-player character must be directly linked to the specific game article page;

Ex: Combat armor

However, if the armor/clothing in question is part of the sprite of an NPC, it is a "non-lootable" item. A "non-lootable" armor and clothing must be linked to the specific page and section of the page if it is game specific;

Ex:
:Green shirt, brown vest, blue baseball cap, brown boots
:non-lootable|Red
:non-lootable|NCR police uniform

IF the armor/clothing in question DOES have a player acquired variant the variant MUST be linked and the "non-lootable" link must be within parenthesis with a link to FO1&2 NPC armor and clothing;

Ex:
:Robes (non-lootable)
:Robes (non-lootable)

;Weapon
The manufacturer & name of a weapon is required if the weapon has a name and manufacturer. The links must be direct to the Manufacturer and With the Specific weapon's full designation. After this there will be a Newline template (<br/>) and the amount of ammunition followed by a direct link to the type of ammunition(s) for the weapon(s) the NPC is carrying.

Ex;
:Wattz 1000 laser pistol<br/>+ x80 small energy cells
:H&K MP9 10mm submachine gun, 10mm variant<br/>+ x48 10mm JHP
:Flambe 450 model flamethrower, varmiter variation<br/>+ x## Flamethrower fuel

;OtherItem
This is for all other items the NPC carries that DOES NOT ONLY spawn when the NPC dies.

;OnDeath
This is for all other items the NPC has ONLY on the CORPSE. If there is none then the section MUST be collapsed using "empty" after the Equals sign.

Non-NPC conversations standardization project[]

Conversations between multiple NPCs and the player character are NOT to be considered the same thing as a full conversational topic by one NPC and the player character.
EX:

<br/>Marcus: "{142}{mcs13}{Uranium mine. I knew there was one around from old maps. Now anybody’s welcome here – ‘long as they act right. Others might not think much of us, but nobody’s more free than we are. There ya go.}"<br/>(HcMARCUS.msg)</ref>

However this does not apply to full stories that an NPC would tell. This would break the context of the story.
EX:

Also when a topic does have a response question this IS in context
EX:

Reference verification project The part that I cannot verify myself[]

These are all the Red references that I need help confirming for one reason or another.
Please note; that I cannot confirm what gamebro dialogue is missing, confirm what gamebro dialogue was added was correctly/incorrectly
Please also note that you should not just reformat the FO1 & 2 dialogue.

1) They weren't added correctly. The bot failed to add the original punctuation marks and the dialogue MUST NOT have original words substituted for local demographic sensibilities. Only the original file will do.
2) The dialogue must have the question/comment before the response in context.

Cassandra Moore: "You know what? I don't need this bullshit right now. We'll take off that goddamn power armor, if it'll just shut you up. A battle is about to be fought out there, to come here requesting our men to give up their armor is insane."

Pre-War industrial pollutants... something in the Sierra Madre structure... It is unique across the wasteland... and deadly. It has kept this place preserved since the Great War."
(Elijah's dialogue)
↑ The Courier: "What is the Cloud?"
Elijah: "It is the Cloud covering the Villa. The longer you are outside, the more its toxins seep into your system... through the lungs and the skin. It will eat at you the longer you are outside... so wherever you go, move fast, or you'll soon find yourself too weak to move."
The Courier: "Why is my vision blurring?"

Sarah Lyons: "All I'm saying is, the longer we sit here, the more time they have to shore up their defenses. We should hit them sooner rather than later."

Wallace: "{259}{}{Depends on where the caravan is from. We get shipments from many places... Servants from the Den, uranium from Broken Hills, and metal ore from Redding.}"
The Chosen One: "{260}{}{What can you tell me about the Den?}"

The Chosen One: "{280}{}{Uh... they stop short of breaking through the defenses?}"
Stark: "{283}{}{I've seen them do it. The last attack, they disabled a laser turret on the western perimeter. They had a clear shot into the city. Then I saw one of their "captains" ORDER them to fall back. Makes no sense.}"

↑ McClure

Needs a check;
↑ As established in Fallout: New Vegas, the NCR has spread far to the north, as far as Arroyo, Klamath, New Reno and Redding. This precludes the possibility of ending 2 being canon. Furthermore, Vault City is mentioned by Rose of Sharon Cassidy as being pacifist and not wishing to be buried there, as well as in one of Cass' endings, she dies in a shack outside of its Vaults. This precludes endings 1, 5, and 6, with numbers 3 and 4 being the only possible ones.

Sunset Sarsaparilla Company

Lack of source file
↑ The Courier: "<Deposit your Sunset Sarsaparilla Stars in the slot.>"
Festus: "Wahoo, you did it pardner! Bully for you! Ol' Festus knew you could do it. I suppose you'll be wanting that prize now. Well then, hold onto your hat, because it's a doozy. Not many people have heard the true story behind Sunset Sarsaparilla. It's a right honor. And now, without further ado, your prize - The Legend of the Star... Looooong ago, people didn't have a heap of choices when it came to soft drinks. It was either water, or Nuka-cola. Now, the threat of legal action forces me to say that Nuka-cola is a swell beverage, but sometimes people just wanted something different, you know? So one day a man, a saloon owner in a small town, decided to make a new type of soft drink, and asked his patrons what flavor they'd like it to be. After getting no help from them, a stranger at the end of the bar suggested the man make a sarsaparilla flavored drink. The stranger said he would happily share his family's recipe for the drink, on one condition. The condition being that the stranger would be allowed to sample a bottle whenever he liked, to ensure the recipe was being followed to the letter. The man happily agreed, thinking the drink would make him rich, and the stranger promised to meet him by sundown the next day. The next morning, the sheriff stopped by and reported that the stranger's body was found on the side of the town road. He'd been killed by bandits. The man, cursing his luck, closed the saloon early that day, just as the sun began to set. But after he had locked the doors, he turned around to find an unfamiliar bottle on the bar, with a note beneath it. The note was sealed with blue wax in the shape of a star. Opening it, the man found it contained a recipe for a sarsaparilla-flavored drink. Sampling the bottle's contents and finding it singularly delicious, the man gave silent thanks to his mysterious benefactor, wherever he was. Being an honorable man, the saloon owner paid for the stranger's funeral, thinking it was the least he could do to repay him. The saloon owner went on to become rich selling the new drink, and to this day some bottles of Sunset Sarsaparilla have a blue star under their caps. Some say the saloon owner ordered it done, in honor of the stranger. Others say it's the stranger, sampling the bottles like he promised. And that's the Legend of the Star. Hope you enjoyed it, and hope you continue enjoying Sunset Sarsaparilla!"
(Festus' dialogue (Fallout: New Vegas))

Sunset Sarsaparilla Lack of source file

↑ The Courier: "Silly Ol' Advisory."
Festus: "While Sunset Sarsaparilla is perfectly safe, a recent independent study - whose validity is currently being challenged - revealed the following: Excessive ingestion of sarsaparilla can lead to deleterious effects including, but not limited to: kidney damage, nausea, digital numbness, anxiety, loss of visual acuity, dizziness, occasional nosebleeds, joint inflammation, tooth decay, sore throat, bronchitis, organ rupture, and halitosis. Note that you'd have to drink a heap of Sunset Sarsaparilla to match the quantities used in the study. How much, you ask? A lot. A whole helluva lot. In fact, you'd have to get full as a tick on Sunset Sarsaparilla to even come close. Anyway, thanks for stopping by, partner! And keep drinking Sunset Sarsaparilla!"
