I really enjoyed the DLC Old World blues, it's full of amazing weapons etc to find. The characters are interesting, and there are a lot of cool things to see and do such as splicing a human and a dog together and causing quite a mess.

The good

Weapon and equipment wise the DLC is amazing, I love the LAER and the FIDO. However the K9000/Fido don't sound powerful enough given their size. However, sound isn't everything, and the guns/weapons themselves are quite powerful.

The DLC also encourages exploration as many of the quests will take you to pretty much every location on the DLC, aside from one or two locations.

I also liked the ability to take all your equipment with you, this meant I did not have to make do with the crap weapons that earlier DLC "Dead Money" gave you.

You also get your own "base", where you can heal up, repair items and craft stuff. You can also complete quests which will access other features such as your own botanical garden, and a Toaster who wants to kill everything, to a robot who has a psychotic obession with coffe mugs, all of these AI personalities are quite funny and add a little bit of craziness that the rest of the Mojave lacks.

The Bad

I honestly can't think of something too bad, the only thing I would say is that more weapons are needed, and the Cyberdog gun needs a better sound effect while firing.

When playing this on the PS3 version of the game I had many crashes and freezes, even after the latest update, which is a shame really as this DLC is really good.

Overall

OVerall the DLC is fantastic and humours, while still managing to retain that "Falloutish" feel. While it does have a few things that need to be improved it's the best DLC for Fallout New Vegas in my opinion.

I highly recommend this to anyone who loves the Fallout universe, and I honestly think it's worth getting.
