- Prior to patch 1.7.7.8, tasty yao guai roast was named yao guai roast, increased melee damage by 15%, and its effect stacked with other melee damage foods.
- The world challenge Tadpole: Cook still mentions yao guai roast instead of tasty yao guai roast, but cooking the tasty version works.
