Although the challenge states that the player character must sell goods worth 10,000 bottle caps, purchasing goods also contribute towards completing the challenge.
Behind the scenes[]
The title of the achievement is a reference to the plot of Mad Max Beyond Thunderdome and the phrase "Who runs Bartertown?" from the movie.
